This Painting is a special one. This is a large study for Benayuns painting called "World Picnic"
According to the artist:  " In this painting  named after a song by musician Shai Erlichman. I have always loved the song for it's imagery and sincerity of emotion. Shai sings about some kind of imagined harmonious event, a 'World Picnic', in which he is connected with the universe and all it's creatures. Although he is singing from a place of loneliness and isolation, everything is good and peaceful in his dream. There is joy and unification. I was inspired to create my own 'World Picnic' - horses, butterflies, cowboys, Native Americans, foliage, and industrialized land. My hope was to create some sort of holistic image which would reconcile paradoxical themes and contemplate restoration for displaced groups.  "
